More Than A Conqueror

When you don't allow yourself to forgive others, you allow them to gain control over a part of your life.  What I am saying is that the very mention of their name or the sight of their face will tap into the sensitive areas and produce anger, hurt, and fear.  So now, somehow, they've manipulated your emotions.

You need to be prepared that your offender may never, ever admit to hurting you.  They may never apologize.  They may choose to live in denial for their entire life.  But yet, you, through the help of the Holy Spirit,  must learn how to forgive them.  You may or may not ever verbally express to the offender that you've forgiven them, so don't think that you need to make an appointment with everyone that's ever hurt you and say, "I forgive you."  Move as God leads you.  In my situation, I forgave and released when it was just myself alone with God.
