About the Book

Beyond Horizons is a collection of poems that I wrote over the past few years. They cover important aspects of our lives. Subjects include the injustices of racism and how poorly the Native Americans, as well as other ethnic classes, were treated.

Why do we categorize mankind instead of accepting that we are all from the human race? The Lord made us all in his own image. Finally, and not least, our earth is decaying at a fast rate. If we just let it go, we won’t have anything worth noting.

About the Author

I was born in Pittsburg California.  My father was Jerry Tiller a career military officer. My mother was Lucy Tiller, my sisters Debbie DeWeese and Sharon Todd live in Indiana, and my brother Danny Tiller lives in Virginia. Our family traveled through out the world. Among these places are Greece, Egypt, Poland, Jordan, and Colombia. I also served in the Army as an officer. My duty stations were South Korea, Germany, and Fort Hood Texas.

I went to College at Northern Community College in Manassas Virginia, and then transferred to James Madison University. My major was Psychology and I minored in Business Management. I was commissioned there upon graduation.  After the Army I worked in Retail.

The arts have always been my passion. I paint abstracts, and landscapes. One of my favorite hobbies is writing poetry. In my poetry I try to in vision a world of peace and faith in the Lord. With my past I am able to paint a canvas as a poem and add meaning to the topic at hand.  I pray that you have a purposeful and meaning life. You are a child of God.
