This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come…evil men and seducers shall wax (grow) worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
(2 Timothy 3:1,13)
Satan knows he has but a short time to work his evil, so he is stepping up his demonic attacks. This is confirmed by almost every news report.
Jesus said we should not be troubled by these perilous times because certain things must come to pass before the end of the Age, but we should watch and be ready for His coming because only our Father in heaven knows the day and the hour. Comparing Scripture signs with current events indicates the day could be today and the hour could be any moment.
We need divine protection now if we are to live victoriously during these perilous last days. We must not wait until trouble comes to switch to a positive confession. If we do, it could hinder God from working in our situation to turn it around. Also, it is possible a positive confession could have prevented the trouble.
The Lord promised to protect us if we will keep our hand in His. He will not let go of us and we certainly do not want to let go of Him. Don’t be one of those who will depart from Jesus Christ during these increasingly perilous times only to be lost to satan. Abide (endure) with Christ until the end and be saved. Speaking like Christ speaks and keeping our focus on Him as our example will encourage us to endure with Him as long as it takes.
A positive confession can give us inner peace regardless of outward circumstances.
A positive confession activates our joy.
A positive confession can encourage us to stay vigilant while we watch and wait for Christ’s soon and sudden coming.
Remember, as stated in my first GUIDE FOR LIVING IN THESE PERILOUS TIMES (ISBN 1-4033-2223-6), God will do for us only what we believe He will do, so we must expect to receive when we call upon our Father in the Name of His precious Son our Living Lord Jesus Christ.
