Her gaurdian angel saves her life twice. Once when she is pinned beneath a big heavy piece of farm equipment and again when she is caught outside in a dreadful snow storm. 

In the third book entitled "The Vision"Slatter finally gets to see her guardian angel, AGAPE, in his angelic form when she finds herself  in a near death experience.

About the Author

Toni L. Head and her husband Jim live in a rural area near Benton, Il.  Toni enjoys meeting people, writing, constructing stage scenery for children's church plays, her Siamese cat Gi Gi, her two Australian Shepherd dogs Jill Ann and Smokey Joe, her grandchildren, the Christmas holiday, setting up Dept. 56 villages, and helping her husband with their purebred Angus cattle operation.  Her philosophy on life is to live each day as if it were her last, yet plan as if she is going to live forever.  Her personality reflects her grateful attitude toward God as she is so thankful He saw fit to bestow His amazing grace on her and give her the precious gift of eternal life.  She loves the way God shows his love for her through family and friends.  She has a wonderful sense of humor and when she walks into a room her very presence is like a ray of sunshine.
