About the Book

DOGS I HAVE KNOWN, THE FOUR LEGGED KIND… is a 78-page book in which  the author relates her true experiences with animals, mainly dogs, that she has come in contact with through over 8 decades of her life.  She includes many color photos of her pets and those of others; and the amusing and humorous tales reflect what is going on in author’s life at  the time and what is going on in Atlanta where she grew up.  The book is on 8-1/2 by 11 pages and is in large type for easy reading.

The author takes the reader through all phases of dog ownership and makes it so real to dog lovers, “When you own dogs, you realize they are ALL different.  They steal your heart, and then they are gone.”

About the Author

Robyn Peeples Walsh grew up in Atlanta during the “good old days” when life was simple.  She loves animals and writes here of some she’s encountered from the early twenties into the new millennium and also gives some insights into what it was like for her growing up in Atlanta.

Robyn has many creative hobbies in addition to writing.  She has long enjoyed painting – both in oils and acrylics -- and making dollhouses and miniature room boxes (including the actual furniture and other dollhouse accessories.)   Through the years she’s created miniature flower arrangements by the hundreds -- in dollhouse scale, as well as slightly larger figurine size.

Robyn was inspired to write by her older brother Edwin A. Peeples, who had many books published, and who also wrote articles and short stories for COLLIERS, SATURDAY EVENING POST and TOWN AND COUNTRY and FORTUNE Magazines.  At one time Robyn worked in the society department at the old ATLANTA CONSTITUTION Newspaper.
