About the Book
This a book of verses left behind by the author,of struggles and
victory through out her life, from being the daughter of a East
Arkansas share cropper, with no confidence in herself,but loads
of pride, to a beautiful lady in the Lord, in giveing, and caring for
people who were hurting, in sickness,spirit or finances.
Some of her verses will put a tear in your eye, some will make
you laugh,and some will make you look inside yourself ,as she
wrote down her thoughts and feelings from grade school through
out her life.
Ann went to be with her Lord on the 17th of October,2005
from an undected lung cancer. Her husband wanted her verses
published,so everyone could meet this great lady.
About the Author
The author was born Ann Ellen Smithson,in Crittenden County
Arkansas,August 7th, 1940, to a Mississippi delta cotton farming couple. Ann was the middle child of 7 children. She was
a "sickly' child and could not keep up with her siblings in doing
her part in work or play.She became the brunt of cruel jokes,
and the last to be "chosen" in team play.She became a loner, a
deep thinker,a dreamer. She had no confidence,no self worth. But she started writing poems,drawing, dancing. She found the Lord,and became a caring, giving person,full of self convidence.
Ann went to be with her Lord on October 17th 2005, due to
lung cancer,only 17 days after it was detected.
