About the Book

Luv Hudson is a counselor over at the youth center for young men in Oakland, CA.  She has been asked by her best friend, Angela, who is an Attorney at Law, to come to court and give an honest and professional opinion about whether or not this one particular client of hers deserves to go to prison.  Or does he have the ability to be one of their, “I find them, you counsel them,” change the home boy project, they set out to achieve since their college days.

Instead, what the counselor finds, is her thoughts, opinions and ideas being challenged by the client’s street wise baller style, older brother, Daniel Davidson.  A bet is made and the challenge for Luv Hudson is to try and change the home boy Daniel Davidson!  But Mr. Davidson is determined to prove that, “when a person is a certain way, ain’t nothing you can do to change all that.”

About the Author

Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Oakland, California, Natalya LaBauve-Williams has had, and continues to have, life experiences that are creatively written and strategically placed inside of the stories she writes, easily displaying her natural knack for writing.  With undergraduate time spent at Ohio State University, a writing course at U.C. Berkeley Extension and Theater experience at Laney Community College, Natalya LaBauve-Williams is a creative and innovative new writer with goals of some day topping the best seller's list.

Employed with the United States Attorney's Office in San Francisco, California, for the past 17 years, Natalya LaBauve-Williams has never given up her dedication and commitment to share her love for story telling.  Whether working as a Legal Assistant, a Human Resource Specialist, or the Executive Secretary to the United States Attorney, Natalya LaBauve-Williams has always found time to immerse herself into the lives of her characters and presents them to the world, uninhibited.

Having realized her love for writing at a young age, Natalya LaBauve-Williams, first displayed her creative expression, by placing friends and family members into fantasy filled stories, then offering them the home made novels, just to see the expressions on their faces.  Her first self published novel Tale From a Square Sista's Hood provides energy, excitement and skills with the same intensity that you will find in her new novel, Luv's Design.

Natalya LaBauve-Williams has the ability to take an urban love story and explode it with written flavors of hip-hop, street, and thug loving!  Through her novels you find out what happens when people from different social classes mix and mingle while looking for love. Natalya LaBauve-Williams still resides in the Bay Area with her husband and two daughters.
