About the Book
This book is dedicated to survivors of all kinds; body, mind, and spirit. This is our story, in verse, of our own struggles and strengths. The continuing process of tackling (or obscuring) obstacles is a universal one despite our particular experiences. We hope with this work you can find comfort in our sorrows, laughter in our absurdity, and peace in our resolutions. Join us on the journey from illness to recovery. Trust us to to lead you through the darkness to the light.
About the Author
Chandra was born in a little, white farmhouse, up in the hills. Since then she has travelled extensively thoughout the United States. Drawing from those experiences she has formulated a poetic style that comes from the heart, and soul. Sharing her feelings, and memories with readers has given her the tools with which to fight despair, and embrace hope. Jennifer is pursuing advanced study of English and linguistics. She has used the written word to express herself creatively since her early adolesence. This is her first publication outside of academia. Jennie shares her home with Fieldy the Wonder dog, Truman the Finch of One Note, and silent fish. She lives in Dunkirk, N.Y.
