About the Author

Who is Phyllis Miller?

A funny lady with unusual experiences that will surprise you, have you laugh and cry.  So read, relax, enjoy, and  perhaps even learn and be inspired.

She has been a published  writer for about 75 years on many different topics including  "how-to", travel, creativity, antiques, marriage, and inspiration. She’s been happily married to Jim since 1941.  They’ve had a life full of wonderful opportunities and their share of adversity.  She is a graduate of Rockford College and has been very active at Northwestern University where Jim earned his MBA. They both served in World War 2.

She’s an adventurous world traveler, a cancer survivor, and a volunteer of the year. She’s vivacious and interested in all people. There is great diversity in her stories.  She tells them as though she is just chatting with an old friend. Of course, you are friends.  She wouldn’t tell all this personal stuff to a stranger.
