About the Book

Murder In a Small Town is the story of four adults, Jen, Tom, Smitty, and Kate who grew up together with an idyllic childhood.  Their friendship is still strong after they start their careers and begin raising families.  The closeness, however, is shattered when Jen's parents are murdered, and the other three become the main suspects.  This is a story of  loss, broken dreams, and ultimately, redemption.

About the Author

I was raised in the small town of Goodman, Mississippi.  It was there that I witnessed and experienced the strong bonds and ties that are formed among people who live in close proximity.

Holmes Community College is located in Goodman.  This school, of which I am very proud, had a profound affect on me.  I grew up hearing stories of many of the students who, often at great sacrifice, attended Holmes.  However, it was there that with hard work they began an educational path that led to a better life.

Murder in a Small Town is not only a mystery, but it captures the profound ability that lies within all of us to move forward even in the most extreme conditions.
