About the Author
Anna Troiano lives in a seaside cottage in Mystic, Connecticut. She collects sea stars you’ll find in many of her books. She feels that these stars are like snowflakes, every one is unique. Anna is inspired by her second graders in Avon. They remind her of the spontaneous and free . She loves lavender, traveling, vintage maps, writing poetry, creating shell boxes for friends, and giving shelter to strays on cold, winter days. Tory Bryant has a BFA from the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts and is currently working towards an MFA in Illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Tory was born in an ice storm, brought home in a Christmas stocking, and at five, had managed to swallow an entire bottle of Flintstone Vitamins. Her work ranges from sculpting a wolf head in Brooklyn to oil painting plein air landscapes in Europe. Tory has a long history of daydreaming, doodling and coloring outside the lines.
