About the Author

Douglas W. Lipp was born and raised on the South Shore of Long Island. Currently residing in West Islip, N.Y., Douglas is an avid surfer, and often does his writing within steps of the Atlantic Ocean. Much of his childhood was spent on Fire Island, and its random free lifestyle can be found within the pages of Northeast of the Lobster Pot. Watching his two young boys grow into teenagers enabled Douglas to live a second childhood, while writing Northeast of the Lobster Pot for them, enabled Douglas to live a third childhood! Douglas enjoys the always changing weather, the ocean’s water, the turning of the seasons, and blueberry pie!
