About the Book

Marriage: To Whom Am I Cleaving? is a discourse on how marriage has been transformed over time. In this book, I will discuss in detail the shift in the marital relationship–from Yahweh to man, from man to woman, and from man/woman to Satan. Then, after dispelling many erroneous notions of marriage, I present the final solution for restoring marriage to the beautiful institution which God intended.

May you be enlightened by the Spirit of Christ as you read these pages.

About the Author

Thirteen  years ago, John Lewis’ thinking was transformed by a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Prior to this encounter, he only knew “about” Jesus through his religious activities, but came to “know” Him intimately. He now is a Deacon under the dynamic leadership of Rev. H. Curtis Douglas at the Brooklyn-based Dabar Worship Center where he heads the fellowship’s Prayer Ministry.

Lewis, 38, also is president of the Brooklyn, NY-based Jamlech Construction Co., Inc., a general contracting firm. He has lived in New York City for the past six years, but hails from Trinidad. There he earned championship titles as a WBA Latin American cruiser-weight boxer. He also holds titles in kickboxing and martial arts.

He and his wife, Gabrielle, have been married for fifteen years and are the parents of two daughters, JaaEl and Faith.
