Once Upon an Ocean

About the Book

What if the world as we know it was reversed? We live in cities, on the land, in houses, with animals, trees, flowers, neighbors, and businesses, Big companies, power companies, airplanes, rockets, boats, skin divers. We have seen the ocean, mountains, rain, snow, sleet, rainbows, and birds flying above in the sky. We have planted corn, wheat, beans, etc. and worked the earth with our hands and machinery. We have always wondered what was above us, up where the moon and the stars are. We have explored and theorized about the Moon, Saturn, Mars, Venus, Pluto, Mercury, Uranus, Neptune, and other solar systems beyond our own, what they are made of, could someone live there. We have explored and wondered about things below us like the center of the earth, the oceans, fish, giants of the water. What if God in all his infinite wisdom, when he created the earth, trees, plants, animals, and man, decided we would live in cities under the water, instead of being upon the earth? Would mans inner most being still want to explore the unknown, or would we simply be content living in our cities and under water caves and live quietly among the creatures of the deep?

About the Author

I have lived in Ohio all my life except for the last six years. I now reside in Louisiana. I have always written books just for myself because I liked the feeling of accomplishing something. Now that I am retired I would like to share some of them with others.

I have tried to make these books as easy and understandable to read as possible. Maybe then more people will read and be able to travel to all the places their minds can imagine. Everyone has a book inside of him or her. Don’t be afraid to take a minute and write it down. You might be surprised what you find.
