This book was written to help divorcing parents come to a reasonable consensus on the method of obtaining a divorce without going broke because of excessive legal fees. The adversarial system of divorce only profits the divorce lawyers and puts financial strain on the divorcing parents and their children.

About the Author

Mr. Mansfield is an International Businessman working mainly on financing renewable energy projects in Africa. He is the Past President of ( F.A.C.T.) Fathers Are Capable Too, a support group for non-custodial parents who want to preserve the rights of their children to bond with them after divorce He lobbied the Federal Government of Canada for changes in the Divorce Act to promote gender equality issues including gender-specific spending on legal clinics, health clinics, shelters, policing standards, regulations, ministries and directorates, each of which should be equally available to both genders. He also advised on many problems associated with one-parent homes as an incentive for the development of gender equality in the courts (e.g.: crime, drug abuse and teenage pregnancies)
