Goodman moved on another five feet only to come to an abrupt halt. No more than five feet in front and a foot or two to his left, he could see the outline of a man who sat off in deep shadows.
Now Goodman noticed just how dark it had gotten inside the store. As he sat trying to understand what he was seeing, he saw something else that made his blood run cold. The bullet-riddled body of a lifeless mannequin stood looking out at the world. To Goodman, it was a sorry sight–one that brought on a sick feeling to his stomach.
