About the Book

My journey through faith intensified as I faced the insurmountable and most devastating period of my life yet, the illness and subsequent death of my mother. When Momma was diagnosed with lung cancer in July 2005, my life began to slowly fall apart. I was not only losing a mother but also the best friend I had in the entire world. I was filled with much anger and pain. There was nothing I could do but depend on someone greater than myself to get me through this period. It was at my greatest moment of despair that I began to recognize who was in control - our most precious Lord and Savior!

This day by day account of a young woman and her family’s struggle in the face of a devastating and emotional challenge is a must read for those trying to maintain faith in a period of turmoil.

About the Author

Angela D. Tansil-Mitchell is an Instructional Developer at a large company in Michigan. Her background in Communications and English has propelled her into a career of writing internal communications. However, her true desire lies in sharing life experiences and writing stories that touch people lives.

Angela is a mother and wife and a strong role model for her 2 young sons. Due to her strong family background and encouraging parents, she believes that success lies in one's own choices and their preparation to meet life challenges. Angela attended Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 1987. In 2004, she received a Master of Arts in Education from Central Michigan University.

Angela's ultimate goal was achieved this year. After a long desire to write and get a book published, she made it happen with the help from the Lord. She is a strong believer that With God all things are possible.
