Neris climbed stealthily through the tree tangled branches until she stopped and crouched on a branch midway up the tree. Through her scope she could see a soldier standing near the door of the facility. She took aim and shot the guard through his visor. Bright crimson blood splattered on the wall behind him and his body slid down the wall to the ground. Another guard nearby immediately took cover behind a wall. Tangorn crouched down as he ran towards the facility walls. Tangorn pressed up against a wall and radioed back to Neris. “What’s the location of the nearest soldier?” “There is a soldier behind a vehicle four yards in front of you over the wall.” Tangorn took a grenade off his belt and pulled the pin and held the clamp down. “Neris, cover me I’m going in.” Tangorn ran to the gate and jumped behind a crate on the inside. Neris fired and killed another soldier as he looked around the corner of the crate he was behind. The side of his helmet exploded and blood gushed from the large section of blown out helmet. The soldier fell and slid off the side of a nearby vehicle. Tangorn threw the grenade and it bounced off the wall and landed behind “No hostiles. Clear to move in.”
