UNCRIED TEARS
He heard me when I was unable to cry.
The pain was too deep. The sorrow too nigh.
He took me into His loving grace,
And wiped the tears that weren’t on my face.
He reached in my soul and held me tight.
Enabling me through another tearless night.
He whispered, “I love you,” as the pain filled my chest.
“Soon,” He said, “your sorrow will turn to happiness.”
He held me in His most loving arms,
Promising to free me from all harm.
As the tears of my soul were dried from above,
He whispered these words with undying love,
“I count not just the tears that you cry.
I count the ones held, way deep inside.”

About the Author
Though Susanna Hunter has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and worked in the computer industry for 10 years, she has been writing poems her whole life. Now devoting her career to her writing, Susanna is at peace doing what she truly loves. Though she has suffered abuse at the hands of her mother and step-father, her father left when she was six, and her husband recently surprised her with a divorce and custody battle, she remains close to her Creator. Susanna knows that it is with God that she has not only made it through all of the painful experiences in her life, but He is how she has come through with joy and peace in her heart, knowing that God truly is in control. Susanna sees her poetry as a way of taking her sorrowful past and using the knowledge gained from it to help others.
