About the Book
The title for my novel is taken from a scripture verse out of the book of Revelation. The connection is made by relating that verse to Jeffery Lucas, the main character in The Pretender Lamb. The Bible asks this thought provoking question; "How long will you halt between two positions?" I believe it is talking about walking the sometimes thin line separating right from wrong. In my life I have straddle that uncomfortable fence and understand the delicate balance that's required.
Although I've spent some time in larger cities, I've lived most of my life in small,
