Auntie Gayle’s Rules and Regulations
In order to be apart of Auntie Gayle’s Daycare and Foster care, you will have to mind your manners. In all aspects of the word, “Mind your Manner.” And in order for Auntie Gayle to take you anywhere. You have to follow the rules: Such as no running, no jumping, no hitting or acting up… and the regulations are:
1. You have to show virtue; strength, Conformity to a standard, of right, morality. You have to be good, in what ever you do. (Amerriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary)
2. You have to be generous, not selfish. Give and you shall receive in whatever you are doing.
3. You have to be neat and orderly and not messy. In whatever you are doing in life. Shock your mom clean your room
4. You have to be obedient. This is where you mind your manners, and when minding your manners play an important part in your surroundings and your life. And it is also important that you mind Auntie Gayle with a cheerful attitude.
5. You have to be attentive, and not look down on others. Mindful, observant, being watchful, and paying attention to what ever you are doing in life
6. You should have a grateful attitude, by being thankful about what you receive, in what ever you are doing in life
7. You have to forgive those who do you wrong. Forgive immediately, in whatever you are doing
8. You have to show sincerity, you have to be honest and truthful, in whatever you doing
9. You have to pray, very important part of life
10. You have to show consistency, do the same thing at the same time everyday, IN WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING
11. You have to love your neighbors as yourself, in whatever you are doing

Each book will start out with Auntie Gayle’s rules and regulations. There are the rules and regulations the daycare must obey when in the care of Auntie Gayle’s Daycare and hopefully at all times.
About the Author
My name is Gayle M. Gilmore, aka Auntie Gayle, the owner and operator of Auntie Gayle’s Daycare and Foster care. I have owned and operated Auntie Gayle’s Daycare for seven years and owned and operated Auntie Gayle’s Foster care for five years. Theses books are about Auntie Gayle and the children she cares for. Auntie Gayle is a 55 year old, Afro-American woman, handicapped by a stroke, who taught herself, how to write and talk all over again.

My passion in life is to see young children thrive and succeed in life. In this day and time children are faced with unnecessary obstacles, where for many, their lives are at risk. Many are exposed to behaviors that are unhealthy to their lives. This is where I came up with writing children’s books. It was an idea that could only be given from God. I took the activities from my daycare, such as going swimming, going fishing, learning how to swim, the snail family, and going to the zoo, and created them into books. In these books I also give the children rules and regulations that will give them direction throughout their journey in life. These rules and regulations are very effective tools that will stay with the children who read them, along with my daycare and foster care.
For many years, I have been trying to figure out a way, to help children inside and outside of my daycare & foster care facility. I came up with children’s books that are not just books, but fun and exciting learning tools that children can use to start a path down a positive road.
