About the Book

The words contained within this body of work were strung together to tell a tale of greed, lust, selfish indulgence, the unbearable weight of a broken spirit, and the triumph and sorrow gained from placing too much faith in the proverbial human heart. Things happen. Some good. Some bad. The difference between the two lying completely within the realm of the moral compass of each individual bearing witness to this particular piece. The only other elaboration I’ll offer is that it involves a young man named Curtis Winslow; the ruffian who first made his presence known within the pages of Jasmine’s Tears and continued to remain a dominant figure within the confines of a book entitled The Redemption of Crestwood Heights. He is by no means alone in this current literary rendition of his life that’s taking place at a point on a timeline quite some distance before his appearance in Jasmine’s Tears. The temptress Amy Bradshaw is present to wreak her own brand of havoc in his life along with the likes of Teri Neilson, April Fletcher, and many others. The trip; one of drug induced debauchery. The journey; one of self examination and realization. If you want, read it. If not, leave it where you found it. Surely the content of these passages aren’t worth any undo grief or unwarranted interruptions of the natural order of things, granted they just might have a tendency to do both.

About the Author

Elliot, I swear. If God made anything worse he kept it for himself and left the devil envious. Oh well. While Mr. Graves is off working on his next literary travesty I suppose I should take this time to tell you a little bit about the man. When I last laid eyes on Elliot he was hanging upside down in the center of the enclosure that he, as of late, is currently being held in, seemingly asleep. Had this been anyone else it might have aroused some level of suspicion, but with Elliot such antics have become all too commonplace. I must say, once his eyelids opened and he turned to face me there was an overwhelming air of shock in the room. When he opened his mouth to address me he spoke only one word before shutting his eyes and returning to his state of stillness.

Gramarye.

I know. I couldn’t make much sense of it either nor did I spend much time attempting to. I personally think that it’s best to leave the task of unraveling such creatures to those individuals with a substantial amount of time to spare. What I can tell you is that he has yet to vacate this plane of existence despite the efforts of many so there’s a very definite possibility that yet another body of his works is being forged at this very moment. Thank you and God help us all.
