A Woman’s Prayer
Father I cry out to your to hear me
Father I ask you to heal me
I even went to you and explain my situation
I cried out
I stepped out
I stepped out to let you know
A street walker, a thief, and a mother I am
I called out to you
Father I have been abused
I have been raped
I have been left behind
Oh Father
I come praying for deliverance
I come prying for excellence
All those I did not for me
I did for my family
Whatever the reason maybe
I come on my knees
I come singing to You
My voice takes flight
As I sing the truth to you from my heart
No one ever took the time out to see what really lies with
inside of me
They just know I am not what they would have me to be
Father I cry out to You
Take home in me Make me into the woman you will have me to be
Some have even told me that you don’t care about me
They lie
God calls me His child
He tells me to trust and walk in faith
Faith in knowing that I am a part of His kingdom
Lord, the devils want me to believe that he has my best
interest at heart
Pain, Shame, Forgiveness, and Window equals Glory
In life, we acquire some type of pain
Pain is anything that can cause you to hurt
Watching your family going through and are unable to help
them
Knowing there are families out in the world that needed to be
reached
You are not able to reach out to them all
Knowing that you have things in you that need to change
Your body may be causing you to suffer in ways no one can
help
We have pains in our lives from past hurts
In life, there are things that may cause shame to fall upon us
Shame of a mother or father
Shame from past experiences
Shame of your faith and race
Shame of who you are
Shame of what you might become
Shame of what you lack in your life
From no having enough of
Food, clothes, distinct place to live, shoes, and money
