About the Book

'Tales of a house wife' is a funny, emotional, advice given, loving book, that describes the life changes of one woman and her family. Coping mechanisms are discussed on how to maintain a busy schedule with two kids, finances, jobs, relationships, and post partum depression. It describes how life for this family of four dealt with illness, and slight disabilities. The book manages to speak of honest anxieties of being a caregiver, but also glamours the love that comes along with late night feedings, and dirty diapers. It contains black and white photos of the characters in the book to give the reader and inside look of the family. It's an easy read with humor, honesty, and hope. Just when you think you can't handle another feeding or dose of reality, the book puts a nice spin on those important moments. You'll read it knowing you felt the same way, or know someone who did. It's packed with info on how to manage every day life, along with your relationship, money, and kids. It reminds you to 'smell the roses' when you seem to busy to breathe. It shows forgiveness, strength and courage when you feel all is lost. It will make you smile duirng the happy moments! And it will also make you feel sad when failure arrives. It showcases details of parents who DON'T know everything, (but pretend they do.) It reminds you that you are the person you are today because of your past...how you deal with the road blocks along the way makes a big difference. You will learn ideas on how to cope with stress of having a running household. Please enjoy this book and look for a second installment coming in 2007 named, 'Before I became a house wife.' Good luck and good reading! Debbie Raymond-Pinet

About the Author

I've been writing since I was in grammer school, continuing up to high school. And now, using it as an everyday tool for life. I use it as a hobby thereafter by writing poetry and short stories, often journaling as well. I took my talents into writing short synopses on daily life and spirituality, adding meaning to many who read them. With their support and guidance, I took my talent on a new level and started to write of my life as a mother, wife and friend. Knowing I could help many with my words, I knew I had to do this. Writing has been my joy since childhood. I have now since grown into an adult with many challenges. I put into words how life changes. I add honesty, opinion, humor, sadness, and fear to my story. I hold nothing back. I feel I have helped many with my confusion (and love) with babies, post-partum, and motherhood, by using related stories and how I overcame those obstacles. I continued to write after this book was finished and completed installment two, named 'Before I became a housewife.' I maintain journals for my kids and often write brief synopses for my close friends and relatives. I carry on with 'End of the season newsletters' so I can keep in touch with everyone. I love what I do and I know that I have touched their lives. I will always find writing as my way of branching out. If I can help just one new, tired, confused, exhausted, person who can relate to what I wrote about, I know I've reached a medium that needs support with the overwhelming responsibility of becoming a caregiver. Take care of yourself, therefore, you may take care of others that much more.
