About the Book
This story developed from seeing a mole coming out of a hole in a grassy area. Our eyes met – or so it seemed to me – and he disappeared into that hole. I went to look for him and this story is what I imagined might happen.
About the Author
Gloria Nussbaum has been writing poetry since high school and many poems have been published.
She has been invited to read stories and poetry to English classes in elementary schools. She thinks rhyming encourages children to learn and love words and facilitates language.
She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
