About the Author

The author has had a multi-faceted career, including a flight around the world and conducting business in many foreign countries. He grew up in the U.S.A. heartland and enlisted in the U.S. Navy as an apprentice seaman at age 19. Through rapid advancement, he rose through every rating and rank to Lieutenant-Commander. He served as project engineer for the Board of Inspection & Survey for many developmental & experimental aircraft. One of his project pilots would later become an astronaut, Scott Carpenter. Later,  he became the Electronics Division Officer for the largest air squadron in the Navy.

He matriculated at the University of Houston and University of Hawaii at two intervals during his 25 years in the Navy and finished his education at Northwestern University, after retirement. During his 20 years civilian employment, he was Manager of Engineering for Helene Curtis Ind., Inc. in Chicago, and subsequently director of off-shore product purchasing.

After a second retirement, he and his lovely wife, Mary, followed their two daughters' families to Orlando Disney. This new venue proved to be the catalyst for completing his fiction novel But Few May Enter. He felt inspired by his brother, William W. Fromm, who has a Doctorate Degree and numerous honors and awards in Education. The 82-year-old first-book novelist hopes readers will find his work candid, unique, and engaging.
