About the Book

With these stories, enter into the lives of seven fictitious characters each of which had different and unexpected experiences. There are the compelling adventures of a secret operative in Panama and Columbia, and what happened to a self-made billionaire and his affair with a glamorous woman from South Africa. You will also meet Helene, a saintly woman who was at first misunderstood by her neighbors and how she solved her problem, and practical Henry, who in spite of his disadvantages, developed a system of athletic training that was eventually used by many. What happens when you suddenly win a hundred million dollars and don’t know what to do with it? Finally we have Robert who lost himself and his family and found them again.

About the Author

The author is a retired country doctor who has always written and told stories to amuse children and adults. He has only one object: to amuse and entertain the reader. He does have definite ideas as to right and wrong, good and bad. He paints, writes, reads constantly, and gardens. His hobbies include rock hunting and amateur lapidary work. He never expected to write a book or see a book of his in print, but with Dream Scenes, published in 2005, he achieved both. Dream Scenes II continues to tell his stories, and he hopes that his views of what happened to his characters will not disturb the reader. He is a firm believer in religion, but feels organized religion has failed to prevent recurring wars. He is a veteran of World War II. He served as a company aid man in Europe, the Philippines, and Japan.
