Memories of their very last time are bugging the hell out of me, she sighed. When they ended their relationship back in 1981, Zena was strung out over Lance. Although they had never declared themselves as an exclusive couple or even as dating, she knew they had an understanding with each other. At least, that was her interpretation of their relationship –– the talking, laughing, hugging, kissing, caressing, and making love.

She arched her back and sped up on his rock, as if she were riding a horse in the Kentucky Derby. When they both peaked, she knew that she had won the race.
That was our last night together, she sighed with genuine emotional heat. Right before Lance graduated.
