About the Author
M.J. McNelis was born in New York in 1972. His love of short stories became apparent early in his childhood. In high school he was introduced to various poems and poets. He then studied poetry and literture in college.
Fortress is M.J.'s first collection of poems published.
The author continues to live in New York with his wife and two children.
