About the Book

Behind the hills of our reality the sun of  truth  is setting. From Capitol Hill to the hill of Calvary, it sets upon the big houses and poor houses, the golden streets to the urban alleys, upon  educated minds and blind controlled ones, the sun is setting and Night Fall comes.

Night Fall is a collection of poems and quotes that have been compiled over 15 years. Its uniquely subtle yet potent speech pulls you into its pages. Chapters of challenging themes and artistic expression arrest your attention; flirting with your current of thought. Sure to test your beliefs about God, culture, relationships, and the structure of the world we live in, the entrance of the spoken word sheds light upon even the darkest corners of human thinking.

About the Author

David Arrah Jamad Dean was born in Reno, Nevada and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area at the age of 11. The death of his father and the culture shock of dissimilar communities actually helped to broaden his view of life. Divine intervention and a praying mother kept him from the call of the streets and he took up sports and music in his spare time. In high school and college David more fully developed his affinity for writing, poetry, singing, music, and public speaking. Sociology, psychology and aspects of philosophy also my his attention.

The experiences in David's life ignited a desire to write about religion, social issues, morality, and politics. He's been writing and passionately performing poetry since the age of 12.

Today David is the director of a youth ministry in central California. He is currently working on other non-fiction books and poetry CD’s. He is also a developing singer, songwriter,
musician, and photographer.
