Bert Allen Thompson

This Genealogical Outline of a Myers Family of Monroe County, Indiana, originated nearly thirty years ago when the compiler, Bert A. Thompson, Wheaton, Illinois, began to casually collect family information as it became available.  Mr. Thompson was born in Bloomington, Indiana in 1930, the sixth generation of this Myers family.  He recently retired after a forty year career as a professional college and university librarian.

With the advent of the computer, it became possible to search for ancestors and with the help of many people, to record later generations of this family. The decision to publish came about only recently.

Ronald M. Weddle

Ronald M. Weddle became involved with this project about five years ago.  Mr. Weddle was born in Bloomington, Indiana in 1944, the seventh generation of this Myers family.  He retired after thirty years of teaching Industrial technology at Brown County High School in Nashville, Indiana.
