As a father I thought, “Hey I love my kids! I am a hard working dad, who brings home a paycheck, and provides for his family. What more do they want from me?” Something, only I can give. None of my relatives can do it. Not even God can do this. Wait a minute, not even God? That is right. He set it up that way. As men we sometimes marvel at how our wives have that sixth sense. They pick up on things or just know what to do in a situation with the children. Men also have this gift operating in them. It’s the “Dad Blessing Gift.” You don’t have to train for it. It comes naturally.
Either parent can give the blessing. It is simple and fun to apply these powerful principles. Do you have to do it all the time? No. Do you have to teach your kids how to do it? No. They learn by your example.
