About the Author
My name is Sharon High-Williams. I’m forty-something, a wife and the mother of what I believe to be a brilliant, caring, educated, inspiring, delightful, diva-ish daughter, Johniqua. I am a Colorado native but I currently reside in the Atlanta metro area surrounded by my loving extended family. I’ve worked with young people for over twenty-four years and I’ve developed a sincere desire to see girls/young women “potientialize”. Potientialize means to realize and then maximize their potential.
This book is a celebration of women from every stage. I want to celebrate the women in my life that have poured into me. The late Roberta High, my mother, Johniqua, my daughter, Sheila, Valerie Ann, Toni, Tanisha, Adrianna, Ericka and Donyelle. I celebrate every girl, pre-teen and young woman that I have had the privilege of working with. I celebrate my mentors who saw and yet see something in me and aren’t afraid to help me push it out. Thanks!
