valentine's day sorrow
valentine's day all alone
no cherubic dame
to allay my disposition of solitude
no sweet expression of a lover
glancing at i in passionate tendencies
the heart of a mourner
is all i have gainedn this day of sweethearts and steadie
the soul of an empty barrel
so empty and unfilled
is etched deep within the campaign of my life
the little cherub's arrow of affection missed a victim
love has passed me through
without steadiness or suggest to render felicity
request i one thing of cupid
provide someone full of ablaze
who will occupy my lonesome beating organ of love
in it's somber dance of sorrow

About the Author
Poetry has to be written with a little more flow because it's music without the sound. The flow of my writing comes from all i have been through in my life and everywhere the Lord wishes to bring me. I know what it's like to hurt so bad you wish for nothing else but to end. I know what it's like to lose a best friend, even two. I grew up in foster care due to abuse and lived a fast-paced, thrill ride of a life before I was even 6 years old. Nowadays I live a life that I respect deeply. I feel it is wise thinking to have respect for oneself beacuse from there builds the respect for other heroes, mentors, peoples in your life. Writing a little over two years now about my experiences, influences, inspirations, and things that just catch my eye, i have matured day by hour in my writing and as often as remembered thank the big man for the gift. Gifting me often the Lord has given me a great pair of adoptive parents whom I see as nothing less than biological and as two of the best heroes a boy could have.
