About the Book

Kye DeLaney, the first U.S. President of Native-American blood, finds himself enthralled with the exquisite Cynda Crain, a woman he first “saw” in one of his psychic dreams. To his astonishment, they meet in person when Cynda interviews him on national TV. As Kye’s dream predicted, the two fall desperately in love and begin a secret affair.

Inevitably, the romance is discovered. That is when the jealous schemes of Kye’s embittered wife and the crafty, ruthless intrigues of his extremely wealthy and powerful father-in-law, result in a suspenseful and exciting story. The surprising twists, and the characters’ attempts to overcome and control those fast-moving events will keep the reader enthralled to the very end.

About the Author

The President’s Woman is the first novel written by Phyllis Graham Dexter. An Anglo child, she grew up on Indian Reservations in the western United States. She has spent her adult life in the Southwest, where she has raised her three children: two boys, one of which is an adopted full blood Yavapai Apache, and her daughter who is one-quarter Chippewa Indian.

Phyllis is a graduate of Arizona State University, majoring in language studies and her graduate work is in Communication.

In this story, her love of romance, as well as the beauty and people of Southwestern United States, blend together in The President’s Woman.
