Farmer Brown

About the Book

   Come meet Farmer Brown and his friends, moo, neigh, bark, bark and more.  Who is putting those mysterious holes in the house.  Who is yip, yip?  And why is he being chased off the farm?  What animal likes to be sheared?

            Farmer Brown is an interactive story using animal sounds instead of animal names as it is being told.  The story can be told  in a variety of fun ways to learn about concentration, animal sounds, reading and spelling.  It may be used to read with one child or with a group of children.

About the Author

Debbie Knill has taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible Schools, and after school clubs for thirty-five years.  She was a missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship of British Columbia, Canada for six years.  It was here in Abbotsford, B.C. working C.E.F. that she started writing short stories and adapting stories for puppet skits.  This carried over into Sunday School where Debbie learned and taught puppetry.  She also has a diploma in Child Psychology.  Debbie’s teaching skills have come from experience and building friendships based on trust with children and parents.
