No matter what the goal is You approach it with hope. Give yourself a pat on the back. You could have given up though you did not. I am proud of you. About the Book
The Poetic Notion is a collection of raw idealistic and opinionated poems written by Stephen J. Suggs between the ages of 13 and 27. The poems in this book were written as ideas based on those who are suffering. In no way does this body of work intent to disrespect any political groups, races, sexes, or religions. Throughout this book of poems, every human will find at least one piece that is related to them. Overall, it is a must read masterpiece. The proceeds to this book will go to a 8 year old girl named , Esther, who is fighting cirrhosis of the liver. Mr. Suggs would like to extend his love and respect to the family
About the Author
Stephen ''The Poet'' Suggs was born on June 4th, 1983 in Beaver, Pennsylvania to Mr. Robert Suggs and Ms. Bernice Brown. Stephen took an early interest in the world of art. By the age of 13, he had already began writing novels and socially conscience poems. One of his most profound poems, ''Dear Coretta'' won Stephen 1st place in the M.L.K creative writing contest sponsored by Pennsylvania's State Representative. During his career as a poet, Stephen has had the opportunity to meet worldwide icons such as Civil Rights Leader Johnnie Carr , Legendary Singer/Songwriter Smokey Robinson and Hip-Hop Pioneers The Sugar Hill Gang. With all of his experience in arts, I am almost certain that this young writer will be amongst the greatest literature artists of our time.
