…………..I worshiped that morning with the congregation led by Founder & Pastor Leroy Robinson aka “Brother Nate” of Christian Life Church, Tallulah, Louisiana. He was praying and I remembered “just like it was yesterday” when he came over and grabbed my head and prophesied, “You think that you might be here for family; visiting; or for whatever you may think that you are here, but………God has another plan for your life. I see BOOKS!!”
“So, even then, in the Lord’s House, I still ‘brushed off’ and in so many words, ‘ignored’ what He had for me.”
I honestly had the nerves to sit there and say (to myself), “Whatever, yeah right, I am here completing my doctoral research, and….…the only books that he sees are those. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I thank you, but I saw those same books too.”
Even now, I know God has a plan for my life, ‘cause with that sarcastic thought and mindset, what else would it be?
It wasn’t until exactly an entire year later during the month of 10/05 that I realize what I was to do with these words, His words.

About the Author
As a young girl growing up in the Delta of Louisiana, Octavia A. Kincy-Moten was destined for greatness. Driven with the desire to pursue and succeed, she would go on to earn several advanced and postgraduate college degrees, but none could have ever prepared her for the blessings that lied ahead.
