About the Author

Dave Cobley lives in Birmingham, where he manages a residential care home for adults with special needs. His interest in travel dates back to childhood, although his first opportunity to travel aboard did not arrive until he was 21 years old. An inter-railing trip around Europe was his first taste of life on the road and he has now visited over seventy countries. Besides travelling and writing, he enjoys studying languages, playing the piano and watching cricket at Edgbaston.
