The planet Bliss sparkled brightly against the darkness of space, as the ship "Orbit" slowly began to prepare it’s landing gear. Chapman quickly began to scan the planet for anything, living signs of any kind. The signals went ignored, as Chapman signaled the captain. "What do you want!" Philco shouted, as he looked at Chapman through a pop up screen. " Ah, there is no sign of life Sir, and we have yet to receive signals of any kind sir." "Huh" Philco scuffed and smiled at Chapman through the screen. " Sounds like somebody have not read the manual, or, have not been doing there job." Philco replied as he began to scan his charts. "There is said to be a brand of human like beings, living on this planet, along with a few other things as well, but the only way we are really going to find out is, to go out there and see for ourselves aye! Chapman, why don’t you take out some of the crew and let them scan the area for life forms, while I set the system." Chapman still looking deep into the screen slowly placed his finger on the captain. "Bastard, you trying to get me killed. I read the manual and I know what’s out there. I also know were not where we suppose to be, as a matter of fact were off-course again. About a good 1,000 miles off course." Chapman stated as he moved his finger from the screen. The room was silent for a moment as Chapman waited for a reply from the captain. The screen blinked and the captain reappeared. " Well we don’t have much of a choice. The system is resetting itself and I have no control over it, meaning someone else is going to be flying this ship until we get back on course." Philco replied, and then turned away from the screen leaving it blinking.
Sage slowly emerged from the ship, fully dressed in a space suite from head to toe. Sage had always wanted to collect and explore any planet like "Bliss", that was really known for it’s flesh eating, half human creatures that inhabited that planet. It was rumored that the planet was cursed, and no one usually made it out alive. However, Sage being not only a engineer, but a explore scientist as well, and a good one, well at least that’s what he believed. Sage slowly walked further into the thickness of the woods that surrounded the ship. Unaware that this journey might be his last.
