About the Book
Yes, that’s right; the picture above is a human heart. No, this is not going to be a biology lesson. The only talk about the physical part of the heart will be right here in the introduction. I’m sure that most of you are aware that heart failure is the number one cause of death in
The heart is a very strong muscle. Touch your chest and feel its rhythm, pulsating, hour after hour, day and night, thirty-six million beats each year, year after year, asleep or awake, pumping your blood through more than six-thousand miles of veins, arteries, and tubing…pumping more than six hundred thousand gallons of blood each year. However, as I have already stated, that’s not what this book is all about.
This book is about the Rebuilding of the Heart. The broken, bitter, unforgiving heart of many people today who have lost hope that they will ever recover, has caused us to lose our joy and happiness we once had or were looking forward to having. Then there are those who thought that money and fame was the way to a happy life, but when they reached that goal, they were still miserable and without peace or joy.
There are so many hearts out there today that are also spiritually dead. This book will help you repair that old heart and get you to that place God intended for you to be. You see, in order to reach our goal of peace and happiness, we must understand what God intended for our hearts to be from the beginning. If the heart were not so important to God, He probably would not have included it so often in His word. The heart is mentioned 975 times in the Bible.
In order to rid our hearts of un-forgiveness and bitterness, we must have a burning desire to have a heart that is pure, and shows kindness, love, forgiveness and hope to everyone we come in contact with. If we are to seek this kind of heart then we must learn the power of prayer, and we must learn to accept God’s gift of grace and mercy. Daily worship and praise to our Creator is the only way to mend a broken heart. The Truth will set you free. Let’s begin!
