Arnold took Betty’s hand and put his weight ball in her hand. Then he took her other hand and began to guide her back to the carts. Ants were beginning to panic. The sky suddenly began to darken. Rain began to fall. It was a downpour! A loud, powerful, earthshaking thunderous cluster of thunder cracked the constant sound of wind. CRAKUSH! CRAKUSH! KUSH! KUSH! CRAKUSH! BOOM! BOOOM! This really caused the ants on the mountain to panic. Ants began to shout out different things. Like:
“Get back to the carts, hurry!”
“Run!”
“Let’s get out of here!”
Then the thunder cracked loud again. CRAKUSH! KUSH! CRAKUSH! Then lightning lit up the sky better than a thousand 100 watt light bulbs could. As the sky lit up for a brief moment, Betty happened to get a clear look at Arnold. Just as she saw his face a wild stream of wind drifted over the mountain and smashed Arnold right in the chest, and blew him right off the side of the mountain, but not before Arnolds hand slipped out of Betty’s. Their eyes met just before Arnold blew off. Betty heard a thousand words spoken by Arnold just by seeing the expression on his face.
