“All is transpiring according to my own brilliant design. You know of what I speak of, Nasil of Mordon.
The Universal Government is crumbling from within. The absence of the Council is just the beginning of what is to come. The Committee’s members will not survive. The Committee will be broken and that will be the end of your pitiful democratic leadership.
Your Chosen One—the One who has been selected by the Divine—is not ready. She will soon begin to realize that opposing me will claim not only her own life but countless lives as well including your own. She will confront me and she will loose. She will be stripped of what I covet and then she will suffer until death…and then her true sufferings will begin.
My prophecy is nearing its completion. I already have three energy crystals and the other seven will soon be mine. Then I will control not only the Underworld Herkmetrís but the entire Mortal Realm and then Hainavén. It is only a matter of time.
It matters not whether you do all in your power or nothing at all to stop me for I am so far along now that it is impossible to reverse what I have achieved. Millions have already either pledged their allegiance to me willfully or by force and the rest of the universe will soon follow. I already control parts of the remote areas of the universe. Soon, I will control it all.
It is inevitable…the universe will fall. Like a small crack in an ice-covered pond that rapidly expands, the universe’s freedom will shatter into countless parts. It has already begun. There is nothing that can stop it. You have failed, Nasil of Mordon and of Modius. The universe is mine.”

About the Book
It has been nearly twenty years since Universal UMDA, the maintenance and defense organization for the Universal Government, saved the planet Modius from the imprisonment of its occupiers. Since that time, all has remained quiet and no military actions were taken by any planet, star system, or galaxy. But unbeknownst to most of the universe, the Dark Ways have slowly crept into the minds and hearts of many individuals, turning their hearts to evil through lies of power and grandeur. The power of the Dark Ways has even infiltrated the minds of the overwhelmed Universal Committee of Magicians—the governing body of the Universal Government.
It is at this time, when tensions are high and the threat of war looms, that the dark lord Satantine, the Dark One, orders his servants to begin the final stages of a plot that has taken all of Time to ripen. It will begin with the retrieval of the last seven mystical gems called energy crystals to power the Dark One’s monstrous machine of war: The Weapon. Servants, intoxicated by the Dark Ways, will infiltrate the planetary governments and plant their seeds of evil. A secret colossal military buildup, one in which the likes the universe has never before seen, shall take control of every planet.
As the universe struggles to repel the evil workings of Darkness, Nasil the Great must instruct his apprentice, Jude Forque, of her place in this conflict while desperately trying to save the innocent people around him. UMDA must go into hiding as the Universal Government crumbles around it and all must eventually submit to Darkness rule.
The time has come. Satantine has declared war on all Creation.
About the Author
Tom Steele III was born on September twenty-ninth, 1988 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. He is a proud Roman Catholic and enjoys writing, playing piano, playing on the computer, going to theatrical productions, and watching motion pictures.
He is a 2007 graduate of York Catholic High School where he participated in his school’s youth group, president of Student Council and the Student Body, manager of the marching band, serving at school-wide masses, and more.
Outside of school, he is part of his church’s Youth Group and Youth Leadership Team, is a computer instructor, a retired altar server, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, hangs out with friends, and more. He is a full-time employee at his local parish as the campus computer technician.
Beginning in August of 2007, Tom will attend York College of Pennsylvania and will be working toward a B.A. in Secondary Education with a focus on Communications.
Tom began working on Adventures Across the Universe in January of 2000 and saw to the completion of Adventures Across the Universe II: Darkness and Light in July of 2007. He has held several book signings in different locations as well as had numerous interviews from media across the state of Pennsylvania, two of which are featured on this website. Tom hopes to continue writing while working to promote his greatest literal achievement, the Adventures Across the Universe series.
