So Peddle did what his mom said and went to Hare’s house. While he was there Hare wanted to take turns reading a story book. Peddle once again got scared and ran home to his mom. “It did no good , I still don’t have a friend,” He said. “Just be patient Peddle, you will learn how to read and count. You just have to try harder and practice more,” said mom.

She is a volunteer firefighter, That has kids of her own that has some medical problems. She wanted to write books because she wanted kids to know it's alright to be different.
