Why We Cannot Forget
Like a river flowing from the depth of our being, these words speak to my heart. From the Soldiers Prayer, The Potters Wheel, No More Dragons, Layered Remembrances, Uncharted Waters, and Weep No More, May we look for another way. A path beyond the pages of war. A path to balance where all are as one, merging into a greater awareness. Sometimes understanding the greatest power we hold is in our ability to Imagine.
We are Spirit. Creators of our creations. We can not forget even when the moment’s before us become as the floods of time, and we are called to face our deepest friend, or enemy. The journey filled with excuses may seem to call us far around the world. The truth is within all the miles, what we search for is not outside, but within us. Sometimes in dreams. Sometimes hiding behind the fears that go un-named, or in what we think we know within our hearts. Until we search our Being, knowing who we are, we may never face the many reflections that show us the mirror of our own strengths, and weaknesses. For how we see another, through our eyes, is how we see that friend, and enemy inside.
When we forget compassion, truth, and the choice to enter war, or peace, we also grasp the temporal things, emotional attachments, and hide the spirits face within us. We rob our own innocents, and what the virgin breath has shown us through the wonder of our own trust, vulnerability, and beginnings.
We are Spirit having a human experience. Stretching our wings. Finding what we give our thoughts to, is what we experience. War begins with selfishness, hunger for power, greed, fear, and forgetting how to flow like the river of healing that makes us who we are. When we forget how to search our own hearts, and souls, and look outside for validation of our power, and reason for existence, we forget that we are the energy that creates the worlds around us.. How we see, and feel inside does color our worlds.
How we choose to heal ourselves, is how we will choose to heal the world. Lest we Forget, peace begins with knowing, and embracing our own hearts as we would embrace another’s. Freedom was never free. The spoils brought home from war are not worth the price we paid.
Asking have we not yet learned? When in Spirit form we weep, and our hearts are touched with burdens without words, maybe we will ask different questions. But until we want change, and peace is that important, and on our lips from the inside out, we may just continue what we know in the flesh.
The cry, that sounds like a Hawk circling in the skies, shows us just one voice can change these things. One step. The reminder that passion so strong, and pure, that even when love is not enough, we will not give up. We will dig deeper into our own depths, seeking such understanding, that will release the torments, doubts, and emotional attachments that imprint the little self. When with one voice we see beyond our own aching egos, hurts, and demands, to the hope we all look for, we will not need to ask why we are here. We will know why we came to grow. While Painting Rainbows, we will find a place where our remembrances reminds us who we are, beyond the circumstances.
When peace matters more than war, inside and out, we will have that which we wish for. When we become accountable for the Spirits voice within us, we will rise above the self destructions we create.
Then for those who have given their all, crying out generation after generation, is there not another way. For those who lost loved ones, families, and hope, your tears, and sorrow have not gone unnoticed. The age is fast approaching where all that we are is not divided, but taken to a new depth of understanding. Our names will no longer need to be written in each others blood, but can be seen through the eyes of healing.
Reaching beyond the lies we tell ourselves we will see that the injustice’s upon this earth, by our own hands, and has not destroyed the Phoenix. For he is within us all, around us, and beyond us as the air we breathe. May these pages rekindle your own choices, hope‘s, and dream’s for just such a day when we rise up with wings, and a new song named, Peace Inside.
From Patches of Beauty, Listening Heart, Home, Only This Moment, and A Message from the Other Side may we all take up our hearts, and souls like pens, and write as one that which we dare to imagine Side by Side within us.
We are no longer virgins, like the seasons. The innocence within us does not need to be left behind. So Softly My Friend, let the Stillness within us awaken with the dawn, as the Sacred Whispers speak rebirth.
