The reader follows these changes through the dramatics of the Internet and David's journal entries. In an attempt to deal with his loss, David moves to Boston and finally, to New York, where three years later, he finally believes he has overcome his breakup—only to have his first love reenter his life.

"They say people who are predominately right-brained tend to be imaginative and artistic, while left-brained thinkers are more analytical and logic-based. And then there are those special few capable of utilizing both hemispheres equally. The folks we tend to label “masterminds” because they’re constantly wowing us with their brilliance. Such is the case with 26-year-old, NYC-based independent artist, David Montalvo."
