Anne Noble first met Dr. Yuan after undergoing spinal surgery and seeking options for relief of pain from osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. Acupuncture and traditional Chinese therapeutic massage (tuina) worked well for Anne’s purposes and she has continued treatments with Dr. Yuan for the past four years. The excellent results of this therapy inspired an interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and she was delighted to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Yuan in preparing this book.
