"I never knew snails could speak," said the King. "Well, yes we can, but I have to make sure I stick my head out of the shell or I get an echo." "Must be quite a lot of room in there, I'd expect?" The snail was quite offended by the King’s last comment, "Are you saying I'm fat?" he blasted. "No need to get shell-shocked," replied Thomas. The snail rolled his eyes, "Do you really know how many times I've heard comments like that?" "No, not really." "Hardly ever, because it takes someone of extreme stupidity and utter brainlessness to come up with them. Rather like yourself, actually." "Don't forget I can tread on you," threatened Thomas, as he dangled his foot over the snail. (An excerpt from the third adventure in the book, 'Heads Together Now')

About the Author
Hello, my name is King Thomas and I'd like to say a little about the chap who wrote this piece of,erm,...well crafted literature. He was born in Cambridge, England, but raised in Huntingdon, a small market town, in the same County and, of course, Country. He has always had a wonderful imagination and a strange, yet oddly amusing, sense of humour. Kingly Boredom was written in August 2002 while the author was in Canada. David thought it to be a one off story and three years passed before he attempted to write any more adventures. August 2005 saw him put pen to paper again and it wasn't long before he had enough stories for his first book.
