Reason 19: Illegal Immigration (Welcome to America
If you don’t have a marketable job skill, then stay out. If you want to come for a visit, fine; spend your money and then leave. We have always been a country of opportunity and always will be. If you want to come here and be productive, we will welcome you with open arms. If you want to come here and pop out a few kids, get free education and welfare and leach off the system then we have no place for you.
Historically, we always had room for new and diverse cultures. We are one of the only societies in the world where you can be born a pauper and die a billionaire. Our social mobility is not driven by a caste system, but rather by an individual’s ability to make money.

There was a time, when people came to this country legally, much like my ancestors. Guess what, they worked hard and became citizens. How’s this for a novel concept; they learned the language. They made their children learn the language. They insisted upon it and they became Americans. They opened businesses, they purchased homes, and they lived the American dream. They became upwardly mobile. It’s been done for well over two hundred years, but it’s not going to happen for two hundred more if the PC crowd has their way.
Before the rise in the politically correct movement of multiculturalism, there was an emphasis on assimilation. In the generation of our grandparents, perhaps the single greatest generation in history, there would have been no room for a notion as stupid as multiculturalism. Nobody would have ever dreamt of having bi-lingual classes or special programs for English as a Second Language. The mere mention of Ebonics would have made you the town clown.

About the Book
We live in a society where criminals have more rights than victims. Our society is one in which the memories of over three thousand of our brothers and sisters who were murdered on 9/11 have been forsaken for the rights of a group of terrorists. Our courts demand that our children receive condoms in schools but outlaw recitation of the Lord’s Prayer.
There was a time in our history when our Constitution was actually written in permanent ink. There was also a time when family values were a critical foundation of our uniquely American culture which was derived from the influence of many cultures. Assimilation was the norm and English as a Second Language would have been frowned upon. Hard work was expected and government handouts were few and far between.
Fast forward to the 21st century and look at us now. Dodgeball provides an insightful commentary into the tyranny of political correctness and its negative impact on our society. See for yourself how the liberal agenda of entitlements and victimization has stolen the savings of millions of hard working Americans, how the government school monopoly is raping the minds of our youth and how judicial activism is robbing you of your most fundamental rights.
The values of Americans have already prevailed in a cold war against the proletariat communists, a world war against the national socialist movement of Nazism and now it is time that we win this war against the assault on our right to free speech. It is time to demand that acts of cultural Marxism, such as political correctness, be made a crime and the perpetrators made to do the time!
About the Author
Christopher Van has had an avid interest in politics for a number of years. He firmly believes that to foster change, people must get involved at a grass roots level. He has run local campaigns for political candidates; managed petition drives to end school overcrowding and has taken a stand against eminent domain and irresponsible growth. He is an avid sports fan, dedicating much of his time to developing a future generation of athletes. He resides in the south and vacations abroad.
He believes that the greatest threats to our nation are governmental actions to seize private property, limit free speech and the right to bear arms. While these rights are fundamentally important to our ability to endure as a republic, he says that we must do more. It is up to our collective citizenry to initiate change at the ballot box. We must work together to preserve what fundamentally belongs to our citizens. We must put an end to the federal income tax, allow people to opt out of social security, provide for choice in the education of our children, put a stop to illegal immigration, bring about meaningful tort reform and make our nation independent of the need for foreign oil through not only alternative fuels, but through expanded domestic drilling, production and refining.
