About the Book

Crunch Time relates the story of a couple of teenagers who undergo a practical process of repentance and pacification in regard to God.  This title refers to a phrase one might use at a rather crucial moment in a competition, while also suggesting a potentially important chapter of human experience.  Combining a conception of certain Christian principles with a sense of diverse challenges that may be part of life in a modern society, the narrative imparts a message about belief.  Crunch Time was written in the form of a script.

“I did see the cartoon and appreciated it very much.  You are very talented and I’m grateful, I’m honored that you thought the message was worthy of doing that type of creative effort.  Thanks very much”!

About the Author

I'm just a messenger from God!

Daniel Lavon Bryant was born on March 6, 1982 in Charleston, South Carolina.  He was the fourth son of eight children from Calvin and Brenda Bryant.  Daniel grew up in Summerville, South Carolina, where he was reared in godliness, athleticism, and academics.  At a young age, Daniel began to write and draw sketches. Daniel believes that his talents originated from his parents.  Calvin Bryant is great with his hands, and Brenda Bryant is artistic.  Daniel used to copy drawings from his older brother Sammy, for the sport of competition.  Daniel really began to realize his gifts at Newington Elementary School, when he was asked to perform a book report on a novel.  From then on, God began to use Daniel in various literary and illustrative forms.  By the time Daniel entered his senior year at Stratford High School, he was ordained a minister.  After graduation, he attended Charleston Southern University, was he majored in youth ministry and minored in art.  Daniel is currently happily married; furthermore, he is teaching and pursuing more education.  While at CSU, Daniel walked on the CSU men’s basketball team.  Moreover, he was able to produce three short video CD cartoons using the characters from “Crunch Time.”  Although blessed from God, Daniel embodies humility and meekness because he understands that God deserves all the Glory and Honor.  Daniel hopes one day, that the Crunch Time gang would hit the television networks, as well as the big screen.  Please pray for Daniel Bryant that God would continue to stretch and use this servant.
